We are from the self-organised Refugee Movement Berlin that started occupying Oranienplatz in central Berlin in 2012 to demand our rights. Even after the eviction we continue fighting. This is the second transnational refugee tour to make our voices heard!

We believe in freedom of movement for everybody, meaning the right to choose where to go and where to stay whenever you want. With transnational exchange of ideas we can fight deportation, stop detention, resist being held in refugee camps, end isolation from the communities and throw the fear away! Together we are strong!

german version bellow

Our initiative has been working on a criticism of the so-called ‘EU Migration Management’ launched in 2015. African and Asian states are forced to control and prevent migration. The European countries are drawing borders in Africa once again. Negotiations often take place in secret, bilaterally or on EU level (e.g. the so-called ‘Valetta Process’).
Security and life of millions of people are sold for couple of billion Euros.
Examples of the current policy of fortress Europe:

  • Provision of technical equipment for identification and surveillance
  • Equipment and training for police, border guards and (para)military troops
  • Readmission agreements and deportations even without passport papers and identification
  • Civil and military cooperation with non-democratic states, dictatorships, war criminals

We think our protest has to be voiced clearly.

There are different objectives and arguments and a variety of possible actions. We’d like to invite you to take part in the discussion and preparation of protests.

vom 12.-13. Juni 2017 in Berlin

Zeit: Mittwoch, 25.1.2017, 19 Uhr
Ort: Aquarium (neben Südblock), Skalitzer Str. 6, U8/U12 Kottbusser Tor

Sunday, 20th March 2016
2 PM | Platz der Luftbrücke | Berlin

On the occasion of the Global Day Against Racism, the self-organized Refugee Club Impulse (RCI) invites you to the Carnival Al-Lajiìn_Al-Lajiàat, the Carnival of the Refugees, on 20th March 2016 in Berlin. The Carnival wants to raise voices against the isolation of refugees and make clear political demands against the tightening of asylum laws and the discrimination of refugees. On this day, refugees will demonstrate in the streets of Berlin and use art as a tool to highlight their issues and demands.

Dear all,
on the Refugee conference, that took place this week end (14-16.11), we decided all together to call for a meeting to create the structure we need to give efficiency to our struggle.
The meeting will take place on the sunday 23 of november, at 3pm at Oranienplatz.

Proposed topics :
-how can we bring the groups together in a common strategy?
-Establishing a regular and permanent assembly of all refugee groups in Berlin
-What are the current projects, problems and coming actions of the group attending the meeting? (how can we organize a Berlinwide solidarity)
-How can we efficientely share responsibilities for the communication, the office and the infopoint tasks?
-how can we better inform and communicate our demands to the german society?
-International solidarity: feedback on the actions in Rome, Amsterdam and preperation of the next demos (Chad 29.11, Cameroun ?, Spain 06.02.2015)

The list is open to all new proposals. Please forward this message to all other refugee groups, and please help us to translate this into arabic, turkish and other languages.

Thanks to all,
Team of the structure workshop.

Invitation to Network-Meeting for Extern Supporters
The events are going head over healsHowever, by court judgment of 12/11/2014, we have gained time to bring our political refugee protest and the implementation of our self-governed international refugee center forward. For this reason we, the refugess from the school at Ohlauerstr. invite allinterested initiatives, organizations, and associations to our network meeting on Tuesday, 18/11/2014 at 8 p.m. in the Emmaus Church on Lausitzer Platz. The aim of this meeting is to organize and coordinate the support outside of the school and to find a work-sharing strategy for productive actions. We would therefore ask all interested parties, to send max 1 – 2 members from their respective clubs or organizations who are willing to participate in regular plenary sessions. We appreciate every form of support!
You can’t evict a movement!
Signed by the members of the School
