The Struggle Continues!

hunger-strike-sendlinger-tor-munich2nd of November 2016, Munich

3rd day of Hunger Strike at Sendlinger Tor

On the 31st of October the struggle continues, in a nicer way. We just started the third phase of our protest, which means: hunger strike. In the first phase we were living at Sendlinger Tor to show our realities in the camps, eating, sleeping, watching TV, going to the toilet, and silencing all comments, which claim that we have everything. But our reality, our life is a modern prison, this is what we wanted to show. But we also wanted to draw the attention to the politicians and authorities. But unfortunately nothing, nothing at all came back from the authorities. At this point we started the second episode, which meant marching from Munich to Nuremberg. On the way we informed more people, distributed flyers, had direct contact with the population, but also and especially we were facing the BAMF and its bureaucrats, who are with their coffees in front of their computers, destroying our lives and our hope for integration into a society, that we had been part of for many years.

From the moment on, we fled persecution, war, corruption and crossed the impossible – namely the sea, the desert, and all the dangers that we met to find security – we had to realize unfortunately that the reality is another one.

Today is the third day of the hungerstrike, something that we were hesitating to do because of respect for religion, respect for our body, but also respect for the gift of life which we have the chance to enjoy here on earth. It is not a game, as a journalist asked me, it is a question of life or death and in any case, we don’t have a life, and this life, our life – it is the most precious thing we have – with this the authorities play, we turn depressive, get psychiatrized, all the illnesses which come of the flight, the insomnia, the crises caused by stress.

I ask myself, why not offering our lives to them and then they can decide how they want.

This situation cannot stay as it is, it has to change and we are doing all the necessary what has to be done, when it has to be done, because we have nothing to lose. Absolutely nothing and if there is nothing to lose, it is an opportunity, which we need to take, so let’s use it.

Hunger Strike At Sendlinger Tor 31oct 2016

A protest march to Nürnburg 8oct 2016

The history of our protest and our campain was only because we wanted to tell this world that “our life should matter” .We are Refugees we have no right to live in a normal socity. We have been forced to leave our countries of origin we have been discriminated. We are screeming and crying and trying to tell the world what is our mistake why we are in a very lower level of humanity. We are humans ! What is our demand what is our goal . Not a life of prisoners not a life of slaves. Where is justice where is the humanity of westerners where is equality between colours culture religion language. In which century we live and in which ristrictions. And how long we have to be in these riatrictions 6 years 8 years the most important time of our life is wasting and wasting every day month and year in all countries as Refugees. These years can astabel our lives and we can get educate and intigirate. Our lives have no mean anymore in this time we are not demanding anything which is not our right just demanding Basic Human Rights.
We want to live ! To how many people we have to ask for it to how many people we should send the application that our lives should matter ?
Who is responding for our questions and who is responsible for our “situation our life”.
We are already dying everyday in our restricted life let us die in front of the world in hunger strike!!!! Because we are humans and this world is against humanity !!!!
Because we want to live a normal civilian life because we want” Right To Stay”.

Welcome – Solidarity Message to the Refugee Protest March arrival in Nuremberg – The protest Continues in Bavaria

Refugee protestmarch 2016 München to Nürnberg-welcomeThe Protest Continues!

Welcome to Nuremberg all the way from Munich dear brothers and sisters, we couldnt all make it to this memorable ocassion of the protest march by activists and suppoters of the protest march of “Refugee Struggle for Freedom: https://refugeestruggle.org/ ” more than 200 Kilometers, which indeed is no short journey. It is astounding that some refugees in Germany are still restrained by the Residenz Pflicht (the ban of the right of movement, being locked in one village and forbidden to make a move outside of it) at this day and age. However, actions like this one bring forth the confidence that one day we shall be free from the bondage of this psychological torture and imprisonment.

In 2005, Refugee have demanding the colosure of the asylum camps in Germany and especially the Deportation camp in Fürth. We travelled in many cities in the Bavaria including Neuburg on the Donau, Landshut, Regensburg, Munich etc. declaring solidarity amongst us the refugees and the determination to realise our goals of eradicating the iniquities imposed on us. To this day, the Deportation camp in Fürth is no more, gone along with many other asylum camps all over the nation. Closed down.

“Our protests are more than 2 decades now and our resilience and resolve is unstoppable. For many years, we have shown our anger and without this, we would not have witnessed some changes although minimal in our treatment as humans. Since the defacto abolition of the 1993 rights for asylum in Germany, there have never been changes without struggles from the refugee communities. The refugee struggles built on the demand for justice cannot be completed without us the refugees and the community activists in the society. (by The VOICE Refugee Forum “http://thevoiceforum.org/node/42519

Although we still have a long way to go, let this be part of the solid disseminated motivation along with the process of improvement. It is never in vain and they know it. They hear us, they hear our voices and they know who we are. We are the refugees that know their rights and not prepared to let go of what rightfully belongs to us: TRUTH & JUSTICE. They hate to admit it, but gradually, we shall be accepted as fully created human beings with identical legitimate shares of the human rights, the atrocities shall tone down to the extent of non-existence.
Remain in solidarity brothers & sisters. Kind regards all the way from the North in Oldenburg.

Flüchtling Protestmarch 2016 Münich Nürnberg17th October 2016, Parsberg – Neumarkt

10th Day Protest March

We as a politically self-organized group of Non-Citizens left for Nuremberg on the 8th of October. This is the protest march of Non-Citizens in 2016. Our protest march is the struggle of the voiceless and excluded, who don’t want to continue living like this. We have left behind lots of countries and thousands of kilometers. Now we have to march here as well, so that we are accepted as human beings. We aren’t accepted here as humans yet, in the eyes of the German state we aren’t worthy of living here as humans. In Nuremberg we will protest in front of the federal office for migration and refugees / Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF), where our asylum applications will be decided. We will continue going from refugee-camp to refugee-camp and call people out to the revolt of the oppressed. This condition in Germany is unacceptable and can’t be improved. We must put an end to this condition and create something better.

Our ideas and suggestions are for all people, who want to fight for a better life without racism, sexism, oppression and exploitation. We can’t solve all of these problems, but we want to introduce certain ideas and suggestions with our actions. We as people that have direct experience with these various problems know, that we can only solve them together. So it is urgent that we build a common struggle together. We can only reach anything if we go on strategically. What do we mean by that? We are those that are excluded from education, from work, so finally from society. We can only fight for our participation in society. For example we have to win over the support of unions and workforce for our fight for working rights. We have to win over students and teachers for our right to education. We have intervened as an actively fighting subject and we continue to take part in alliances with political groups and organizations to protest against further restrictive legislation, like the so called Bavarian integration law or the new law-draft by the Minister of  Interior Thomas de Maiziére and against the existing asylum laws. So we don’t need a politics of isolation, but we demand a common struggle with all the oppressed and workers against the capitalist conditions. While Germany, as an imperialist power, is causing wars and crisis in other parts of the world by selling arms and supporting reactionary regimes, in Germany racists are taking to the streets trying to keep Germany a fortress of imperialist privileges. End German arms sells and German support of reactionary regimes.

Currently the government is trying to divide and discriminate the people even more. That only the AfD (right-wing party) represents racism in Germany is a lie. Racism is already at home in Germany. It´s deep-rooted in the state, in the government, in politics and society.

Appropriately Minister of Interior de  Maiziére is introducing another legislative draft for an new asylum law restriction. Humans should not to be informed of their upcoming deportations (anymore). Additionally more people are supposed to be taken into deportation centres. Furthermore all people are going to be forced to leave if they don’t show their passport or tell their nationality. Nearly all refugees don’t have their papers anymore when they arrive, this means that this racist government doesn’t want to accept any more refugees or wants to quickly deport them.

The Bavarian Integration Law also shows us how racism works in Parliament. There is talked about us without us, the Non-Citizens. Finally, universal rigth to vote has to be established so that all people who live in Germany can vote. Far from that we demand a labor law for all. The Non-Citizens are forced to work for less than one Euro and thus become wage drivers on the labor market. This divides the workforce, working people and society, which creates even more racism.

At the latest now it should be clear that our protest is taking place at the right time. The conditions for us are getting worse and worse, so we can’t continue to standby.

With our joint actions, we want to achieve the right to stay and equal rights for all people.

deutsch

Was meinen Wir damit?

Kilometre by kilometre

[francais]

[english]

Just walking miles after miles on those roads, that are used by cars normally, gives us this special feeling of freedom without having even reached Nuremberg yet. We don’t have to forget that many of us who are on the protest march, have already walked thousands of miles, to escape repression, terrorism, discrimination etc. And this time we are back on the road for the recognition of our freedom and our basic human rights.

[deutsch]

Five Borders

15th of October, 2016, Hemau
7th day of the Protest March

So today, we are on our way to Nuremberg. We have just crossed five cities. It is as if we have crossed five borders, one after another. From suffering to easiness, some have welcomed us comfortably, others didn’t even want to listen to our voices, having isolated us at the other end of th

e towns, as it happened in Freising and Moosburg. It is as if history is repeating again and again.

In the past, our ancestors have been slaves, our grandparents, who experienced World War I and II, have been violently forced to fight in the units of the Tirailleurs Sénégalais. They have helped the world to get freed from the invasion of the Nazis, but unluckily they asked for what they were entitled to. They were massacred in mases in the camp of Thiaroye (Senegal) and now it is us today, the grandchildren, who fight for our dignity, our existence, our freedom of movement, and, mainly, for education.

Is it too much to ask that one should be able to learn, if one is able to, is it too much to ask that one should be able to work, if you have the ability and the power, in order to not being dependent on someone, is it too much to ask in the 21st century to struggle for freedom and live, and what is left then from the struggles led by Ghandi or Martin Luther King and all the others. The world isn’t existing since today and it will not stop existing tomorrow. Let’s open our hearts, be in solidarity with each other, listen, don’t be afraid, take it seriously, let us take it serious, because neighbours will always cross each other’s ways, whether they want it or not.

Press Statement of The VOICE Refugee Forum:

In solidarity with the 14 days of protest march from Munich to Nuremberg 2016: Refugees from The VOICE Refugee Forum (network) join in Landshut on 11th October 2016

On 8th October 2016 the protest march of the group “Refugee Struggle for Freedom” has started in Munich and will end on 21st October in Nuremberg

This protest march is aimed to mobilize and organize against the delay and refusal of Refugee Application for protection by the Federal office for Migration – (Bundesamt für Migration) and Refugee Asylum in Nueremberg.

The VOICE refugee Forum Germany, together with the recently founded VOICE Refugee Forum Bavaria and the „Community of Refugee political activists in Bavaria“ stand in solidarity with the “Refugees struggle for freedom group” and we will give
full support to the protest march. We refugees here fight for our rights, strengthen each other and together we will defend our dignity. We are also human beings and deserve respect and dignity like any human being. By coming together, we will continue to learn from each other, develop our strength by continued self-empowerment to overcome the different faces of injustice in Europe.

Our goal is to organize with self-organisation of refugees and their Communities against the Apartheid in isolation camps and Lagers that leads to suicide and trauma and to empower the political Networks and struggles in the camps. We demand solidarity in the protest against the collective punishments through the racist persecution of refugees in Germany. We demand the abolition of the residence obligation (Residenzpflicht) and of the segregation of refugees in lagers, camps and deportation prisons. We stand for freedom of movement for all, deportation stop and for the end of all discriminatory laws against refugees.

On the Move! Power Up, in solidarité!!

Let’s Unite – The REFUGEE is the movement and our Community is our defense in Europe: The “VOICE” Declaration on Protest March

The Voice Refugee Forum declaration on Protest March Munich to Nuremberg“The REFUGEE is the movement and our Community is our defense in Europe”
by Osaren Igbinoba of The VOICE Refugee Forum.

The REFUGEE is the movement and our community is our defense! The struggles of the refugees to organize in communities are a strategic and political move to ensure a participatory and representative position within and outside, in any progressive grassroot movement.

We are now in the belly of the monster. They want us to become their soldiers, to make them more powerful in their colonial systems. We know why we are here and we will never forget the people we have left behind in our homelands. We are in solidarity especially with those who are still on the the other side of the borders, fighting against terrible conditions only to survive one more day.

We are calling for the stop of all deportations and for freedom of movement for all.

The ongoing protest march is not the first organized by the „Refugee struggle for freedom“ and will not be the last refugee protest march in Bavaria. This protest will go a long way to empower the resistance of refugees in Bavaria as it strengthens our self-determination and makes our unity visibility in the refugee communities nationwide.

The refugee community is in movement and as we network together, we find immediate solution to problems. Through our coordinated protests and engagements let us work to unite and organise ourselves!

Those who are presently destroying our homelands are those who claim they are giving us shelter and residence! Those who are splitting, dividing our societies and provoking wars between our people, now are those who claim integrating us to their society! They claim that they are generous? People with material wealth are not generous, else they won’t be rich. Only the poor are generous, for they know what it means to have nothing.

We call on refugees to distance themselves from the pro-states institutions, organisations and political parties who feed and comfort themselves from the miseries and plights of the refugee. These networks have one thing in commom: they unite to depoliticize the struggles of activists within the movement. We know them when they call for a humanitarian solution while calling for and supporting massive deportations and isolation of refugees.

In reality they are keeping their deportation sword over our heads. They are also dividing us to “good” or “bad”, and “deserved” or “not deserved” refugees. They have still more tricks; they talk about the danger of Pegida and islamists, a prototype of the war produced by the very act of their system in Middle-east and Africa.

They expect us, the marginalized masses, to forget what they are really doing, tricking us into a schism with some of us being given better positions under their rule.

Our protests are more than 2 decades now and our resilience and resolve is unstoppable.

Now, we are witnessing once more the refugee community in Bayern „REFUGEE STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM“, on the move from 8.-21.October this year, from Munich towards Nürenberg (the head quarter of the Federal Office for Migration in Germany). We are joining and calling on other refugees to unite in this protest to realise the refugee demands the for unconditional residence and open border, in protest against the unhuman conditions under which we live.

This is a protest march and a way to bring us together because our unity is our power. When we come together we find out all of us suffer from the same pain. We can exchange our experiences and we can organize our unity.

Come to this march or support it in your localities and by your words. Freedom and dignity are never going to be given to us as a present, we can have them through our collective struggles.

6th Day Protest March

Illegalisation of our Protest

3:30 pm

Now demonstration of people in solidarity starts at Neupfarrplatz, that will meet us on our way. On this place Non-Citizens were figthing for right to stay from 11th July till 6th of September 2012 and from 15th July till 21st of July 2013.

Later both demonstrations meet. However, we will be spending the night outdoors at Dultplatz, in spite of the freezing temperatures. We had been promised access to an indoor location, that has been retracted because the office of Regensburg’s major graded the march as “illegal action”.

This proceeding shows once again how the world illegalises our lives. Again and again, we have been forced to live in slavery, as third class people. Despite official registration and several cooperation talks, our protest and our struggle for freedom and dignity is illegalised. Of course, our protest is illegal in the eyes of the authorities, because people are motivated to fight for their rights. We demand that our lives matter too. We won’t remain silent any longer. No human being is illegal. Right to stay everywhere.

Saturday, 15th of October Regensburg – Hemau

Five Borders

15th of October, 2016, Hemau
7th day of the Protest March

So today, we are on our way to Nuremberg. We have just crossed five cities. It is as if we have crossed five borders, one after another. From suffering to easiness, some have welcomed us comfortably, others didn’t even want to listen to our voices, having isolated us at the other end of the towns, as it happened in Freising and Moosburg.
