Am 18.Juli 2013 blockierten die streikenden Geflüchteten in Berlin spontan die Strassen am Oranienplatz Fotos
Das langwährende Schweigen und die Ignoranz der verantwortlichen Politiker_innen in Berlin und in der Regierung über die immer und immer wiederholten Forderungen der Geflüchteten waren nicht länger tragbar. Weder die Bedingungen der Menschen im Camp selbst, noch die sozialen Bedingungen der Geflüchteten im ganzen Land haben sich in irgendeiner Weise geändert. Die aufgestaute Wut brach schließlich durch und die Geflüchteten, begleitet von Unterstützer_innen, gingen auf die Straße und blockierten den Verkehr. Auf Transparenten wurden die Forderungen gehalten und auf die Strasse gelegt, zudem wurden Stühle und Tische auf die Straße gestellt. Die Geflüchteten waren entschlossen, den Ort nicht zu verlassen, bis wesentliche Vorschläge in Richtung einer Lösung der Problematik und der Erfüllung ihrer Forderungen von den verantwortlichen Politikern zugesagt würden. Der Bezirksbürgermeister FRANZ SCHULZ erschien gemeinsam mit dem Berliner stellvertretenden Beauftragten für Integration und Migration ANDREAS GERMERSHAUSEN vor Ort und nach 4 Stunden harten Diskussionen wurde eine Vereinbarung getroffen: SCHULZ und GERMERSHAUSEN versprachen hochrangige Politiker und Mitglieder des Parlaments zu einem Gespräch auf dem Oranienplatz einzuladen, um offene Verhandlungen über spezifische und allgemeine politische Lösungen für die gegebene soziale Situation der Geflüchteten zu führen.
Die Geflüchteten erklärten, dass sie sich im Falle keines befriedigenden Ergebnisses des Treffens gezwungen fühlen, neue geeignete Maßnahmen zu ergreifen.
Zitat aus der offiziellen Einladung von Herrn SCHULZ: ” ( ) Das Büro der Beauftragten für Integration und Migration des Senats von Berlin und das Bezirksamt Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg möchten damit wieder die Gesprächskontakte aufnehmen um politische Lösungswege für die Flüchtlinge zu sondieren. Zu diesem Gespräch möchte ich sie ganz herzlich einladen. Das gemeinsame Gespräch soll stattfinden am:

The longlasting silence and neglect of the responsable politicians in Berlin and within the government concerning the over and over repeated demands of the refugees was no longer sustainable. Nor the conditions of the people in the camp itself nor the social conditions of the refugees across the country have changed in any way. The built-up rage eventually broke through and the refugees, accompanied by supporters, took to the street and blocked the traffic. On banners the demands were hold and later laid onto the ground, chairs and tables were taken to the street. The refugees were determined not to leave until some substantial propositions towards a solution of the set of problems and their demands were handed over by the responsable politicians. The district mayor FRANZ SCHULZ showed up together with the Berlin vice-commissioner for Integration and Migration ANDREAS GERMERSHAUSEN and after 4 hours of harsh discussions an agreement was settled: SCHULZ and GERMERSHAUSEN promised to invite highranked politicians and members of parlament to join a meeting and round table on Oranienplatz in order to get into outright negotiations towards specific and general political solutions to the given social situation of the refugees.
The invitation by mayor SCHULZ is sceduled on next week July 18th 2013 at 1 pm at Oranienplatz
The refugees declared that in case of no satisfactory outcome of the meeting they feel forced to take new appropriate actions.
