Da sie vor der Unabhängigkeit des Landes als Serben eingestuft wurden, werden diese Roma heute im Kosovo systematisch und auch rechtmäßig von der Gesellschaft ausgegrenzt. Noch im Februar 2015 galten sie als größte Gruppe der Asylantragsteller in Deutschland. Die jüngsten Gesetzesänderungen haben jedoch die Chancen dieser Menschen auf ein Leben in Sicherheit fundamental gesenkt. Hikmet is now imprisoned in the German town Essen, and he is threatened with immediate deportation. We are calling on Berlin to show public solidarity; and we are are very happy about the local support of the activists from Oranienplatz (O-platz”) and the initiative My RIGHT IS YOUR RIGHT as well as the musical support from the Berliner Hiphop greats / artists MC Josh & NASH, the rap and songwriter Çığır („Spuk nach Rechts“) and of course Hikmet’s brothers, the hiphop artists Kefeat and Selami. Also famous the Berlin’s well known Hiphop Artists like “Sido” and “Kaveh” were quick to post their solidarity for the freedom for Hikmet on their Facebook fan pages.

Since August, there has been a wave of weekly mass-deportations to Balkan countries. We demand an immediate end/stop (in accordance with §60 Residency Law [Aufenthaltsgesetz]) and the unconditional right to stay in terms of the unlimited residency permit for Roma from the Balkans. We also demand a critical investigation of how credible it is to say that countries in the Balkans are “safe lands of origin”. Roma are treated, like outlaws, in these countries and face horrifying conditions.
On 16 December 2015, there was, yet another, mass deportation of 125 people who were deported from Lower Saxony to the Balkans. This included many children, who were born and raised here in Germany, and who went to school in Germany. Attacks on the mass shelters for people from the Balkan countries (mainly of Roma origin) are happening weekly, all over Germany. The Left in Germany, unfortunately, remains silent. We demand a special new rule for the right of Roma to finally gain full German citizenship. Most of the ten thousands of Roma living in Germany do not have any secure residency status (so called “toleration” “Duldung”). Nous exigeons l’arrêt immédiat des déportations (selon le §60 la Loi sur le droit de séjour) et aussi le droit de séjour sans conditions pour les Roms des Balkans. De même, nous exigeons un examen critique, qui doit justifier la crédibilité de la désignation de «pays d’origine sûrs“ pour les pays des Balkans à l’égard des Roms. La plupart des Roms vivant en Allemagne ne disposent pas d’un statut de résidence sûr ( « Duldung » la suspension provisoire de l‘expulsion) et sont les plus touchés par les deux derniers durcissements du droit d’asile.
Les deux jeunes frères sont, dans leurs activités artistiques, fortement liés à Hikmet. Les deux artistes qui furent déjà déportés en 2010 et sont maintenant de nouveau presque un an en Allemagne.
Ils font du rap, en allemand, sur les temps difficiles dans un pays étranger. Depuis leurs retrouvailles les trois frères sont devenus un porte-parole de la contestation dans le mouvement international des Roms, car ils s’engagent de plus en plus pour d’autres réfugiés, ils ont déjà apparu sur différentes plates-formes et ont crée, à Essen, une association de talent scout (chercheurs de talents) avec d’autres artistes dans le secteur de la musique.
Pendant la Journée internationale des Roms, (le 8 avril) Hikmet aka-Prince-H était avec ses frères Kefeat et Selami sur scène en face de la Porte de Brandebourg et il a fait danser le public.
