Federico „Fede“ Annibale, der aus Italien stammt und in London studiert, wurde während des Blockupy-Aktionstags gegen die Eröffnung der Europäischen Zentralbank am 18. März festgenommen und am nächsten Tag in die Untersuchungshaft in Preungesheim überstellt. Seit dem 18. März sitzt Fede im Knast in Preungesheim.
Am 11.April haben bei einer spontanen Soli-Aktion am Kottbusser Tor einige Leute ein Plakat von der Empore des Zentrum Kreuzberg gehängt mit Aufschrift: “Free Fede!” Ein paar der Leute trugen Strickmasken in Regenbogenfarben wie der bunte Block in Frankfurt, dem Fede angehörte. Weil die Polizei nicht verstand, dass es sich um eine Kunst-Performance handelte, wurden die Masken und das Plakat beschlagnahmt und einige Personen wegen Verstoß gegen das Vermummungsverbot angezeigt.
Wieder wurde eine Solidaritätbekundung durch staatliche Repression beendet.
Federico „Fede“ Annibale, from Italy, currently studying in London got arrested in Frankfurt during blockupy action day against the inauguration of the European Central Bank. The day after he was put into investigative custody at the Preungesheim clink and remained there ever since.
11th of April some people rolled out a “Free Fede!” banner from the gallery of Zentrum Kreuzberg in a spontaneous act of solidarity. A few of them wore rainbow coloured knit masks as the coloured block in Frankfurt did, where Fede participated. Because the police didn’t understand the artistic nature of the event, they confiscated the masks as well as the banner and a couple of persons got denounced for offence against a law prohibiting to wear masks at demonstrations.
Again state reprisal aborted an act of solidarity!
