Demonstration on Tuesday the 11th, 2012 at the Bezirksamt Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg where the decision about the abandoned school we have squatted/occupied on Saturday the 8th, 2012 will be taken! That’s why we are here today to show how serious we are with our demands:
On December 8th 2012 we occupied a large school in Ohlauer Straße/Reichenberger Straße. As refugees on strike we transformed the fight we have been leading for the last month on the streets to a new level. After our march from Würzburg to Berlin we have built our protestcamp at Oranienplatz. We continue our resistance with demonstrations, the spreading of flyers, visits to refugee camps and occupying.
The district administration wants to set up a Lager for the forced accommodation of refugees at Moritzplatz. Our direct answer to that is the occupation of a huge school building and the construction of a self organized space. In Germany there are many refugees. One of our basic demands is the abolishment of the existing refugee camps, which are producing isolation. In this sense the occupying of the school has a symbolic meaning. On the other hand we are mobilizing new refugees for our righteous legitimate resistance. There is a practical need to stay in the occupied school during winter, to straighten our resistance against all Lagers, Residenzpflicht and Deportations!
We will rise!
Wir bleiben alle!
Kein Mensch ist illegal!
