Brandanschlag auf das „Haus der 28 Türen“

In der Nacht vom 30. auf den 31. März wurde ein Brandanschlag auf das „Haus der 28 Türen“ am Oranienplatz, dem Zentrum unseres politischen Kampfes, verübt. Dieser Angriff auf die Refugee Bewegung ist offensichtlich politisch motiviert und von der herrschenden Politik provoziert.
Es ist nur einer von zahlreichen Angriffen gegen unseren Protest: Im August 2014 wurde unser großes Versammlungszelt verbrannt, mehrmals wurden Tische und andere Materialien unseres Infopunktes zerstört und auch physische Angriffe auf Refugee-Aktivist_innen kamen bereits vor.

Entgegen des vermeintlichen Bedauerns von Politiker_innen, zeigt das Vorgehen des Bezirks und Berliner Senats gegen unseren Protest am Oranienplatz seit 2012, dass solch gewaltvolle Angriffe eigentlich im Interesse der regierenden Politiker_innen sind. Einerseits wurde durch scheinheilige Solidaritätsbekundungen und gebrochene Versprechen – wie der Zusage von D. Kolat (Senat, SPD) einen stabilen Infopunkt zur Verfügung zu stellen –  stets versucht unsere Bewegung zum Schweigen zu bringen. Andererseits wurde sowohl vom Berliner Senat als auch dem Bezirk Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg unter M. Herrmann (Grüne) immer versucht unseren Protest als illegitim darzustellen und uns durch Kriminalisierung und staatliche Gewalt, aus dem Weg zu räumen. So fungiert die Politik als Wegbereiter für Gewalt, wie den Brandanschlag auf das „Haus der 28 Türen“.

Ein Grund mehr unseren Kampf für Bewegungsfreiheit, gegen Lager und Abschiebungen fortzusetzen, am Oranienplatz und anderswo!
