The so-called Refugees are arriving to Berlin in numbers that the state seems unable to cope with. The public is split in its opinion. Being aware of the crisis situation, what can artists bring to the discussion? Where can they engage? How could they make a difference?
One of the things we can do, is to try to give a voice back to us, the people, to give ourselves a chance to understand what we are all living, and most of all to give ourselves a chance to experience it together.
We decided to give voices to humans and humanity, to make the people appear and the empty slogans disappear. We think the festival format is best to allow as much dialogue as possible to emerge. Within the rich program of exhibitions, performances, live music, talks, films and more throughout Neukölln, there will be plenty of chances for everyone to create together.

Everyone can discover how photography really works. Build an own self-made d-i-y camera with recycled material/ do photography/ print them out and exhibit them! A lot of fun and practice.

In arabic, Nafar means the one without name, without right, a number in the mass, and its how the
smugglers are calling their clients. “He is only a pocket of money”.
– ON THE WAY. As a co-exhibition the Unframed Project society and Yara Aldebeyat will build up a collection of pictures of people on the way. A collection of their memories through these common suicidal journeys.

NRRA AFLA is a Hand made work of Salim a Berber fashion designer living in Berlin.
His work is for him a personal expression of his roots into the streetwear style of berlin. He sews fabrics as he feels them, his work is ‘’just love’’.

The Mobile Cinema will have its premiere on the 15th of November 2015 in the NBH Neukölln. The program includes one hour of animation films, some of which won at international festivals, all without language and directed to children.
The trailer for this program was done by the autumn holiday school with children who will be present with their friends and families on this first screening.
