Da wir davon ausgehen, dass Sie an einer differenzierteren, ausgewogeneren und alle Sichtweisen transportierenden Berichterstattung, an Lösungen und nicht an einer weiteren Eskalation interessiert sind, wollen wir Ihnen Rede und Antwort stehen. Darüber hinaus werden wir über Inhalte und Ergebnisse des Runden Tisches vom Vortage mit Vertreter_innen des Camps, der Anwohner_innenschaft und Bezirkspolitiker_innen berichten. Wir möchten zu den Vorwürfen und Ressentiments gegenüber dem Camp Stellung nehmen, Ursachen aufzeigen und Lösungsvorschläge machen. Darüberhinaus werden wir über unsere weiteren Pläne bezüglich des Fortbestehens des Camps informieren.
Dazu haben wir den Bezirksbürgermeister sowie weitere Vertreter_innen von Vereinen und Initiativen sowie Lokalitäten aus dem Umfeld des Camps eingeladen, von denen wir bereits Zusagen erhalten haben.

We would like to welcome you to our press conference on 25th Invite June at 13.00 clock in the Refugeecamp at Oranienplatz. After some tendentious reporting in recent days regarding the events of 17.06.2013 (knife attack, police and escalating attacks on the camp from outside) we want to give you the opportunity to learn in detail about our approach.
Since we assume that you are interested in a more nuanced, balanced reporting solutions which includes all points of views and that you are not intertested in any further escalation, we would like to answer questions. In addition, we will report on the contents and results of the roundtable the day before with representatives of the camp, of the nearby dwellers and the local politicians. We want to comment on the reproaches and the resentment towards the camp, identify causes and propose solutions. In addition, we will inform you about our further plans for the continued existence of the camps.
We have invited the district mayor and other deputies of associations and initiatives, and the bars and cafés around the camp, of which we have already received confirmations.
