Dearest friends,
on thursday the 19th of November at 11am at Potsdamer Platz, we will realize the fourth Refugee School and University strike against racism and for fundamental rights for everybody.
This message is an invitation for you: Be part of the strike and give your political demands visibility and a strong voice on the streets of Berlin. It would be wonderful if you could join the strike and if you feel like supporting the strike and it’s demands besides your overall valuable participation, there are many ways to do so, like for example:
– hold a speech at the strike (just let us now by sending us an E-Mail at: schulstreik-berlin@riseup.net). bring your own banners and placards
– spread and distribute our flyers, posters and stickers at your school, university or working place. You can get them at the bookstores: ”Schwarze Risse”, Mehringhöfe / Gneisenaustr. 2a (U Mehringdamm) from 10 am – 7 pm and at ”zur schwankenden Weltkugel”, Kastanienallee 85, (Prenzl-Berg) from 11 am to 7pm.

– invite and ask your classmates, friends, comrades and colleges actively to join the strike

– organize yourself to join the strike in little groups – thats usually more fun and secure than going alone and it rises the potential for interesting political discussions and activities in the future
– many pupils would like to strike, but they are afraid of the possible consequences. Hey Leute,
am 19. November organisieren wir in Berlin wieder einen Refugee Schul- und Unistreik gegen staatlichen und gesellschaftlichen Rassismus!
Seid teil davon! Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn ihr kommt und viele Leute mitbringen würdet. Außerdem gibt es natürlich viele, viele Möglichkeiten sich auch sonst zu beteiligen. Ihr könntet zum Beispiel einen Redebeitrag halten oder ein Transpi mitbringen oder fleißig für uns flyern, plakatieren, stickern, oder coole Mobivideos, Fotos oder andere kreative Ergüsse durchs World Wide Web jagen. Oder eine coole Soliaktion starten oder eure eigenen Ideen einbringen.
Vor allem fordern wir gleiche Rechte für Alle und Lager abzuschaffen! Außerdem fordern wir dazu auf aktiv zu werden gegen rechte Gewalt und Rassismus keinen Raum zu bieten!

Cher-e-s activist-e-s,
le 19 novembre, nous organiserons à Berlin une nouvelle grève d’écoles et d’universités pour soutenir les réfugié-e-s et contre le racisme publique et étatique. Nous vous invitons à y faire partir! Nous vous invitons à pariticiper à la manifestations et à inviter vos copin-e-s. A part cela, il y a plein de moyens de participation, par exemple, *tenir un discours* ou présenter une *pièce de musique ou de théâtre* ou emmener *une banderole* ou participer à la mobilistion en distribuant les*tracts, affiches et collants* ou poster des*emails, vidéos, photos ou autres produits créatifs* sur le web. Ou bien vous lancez une action de solidarité ou participez avec vos propres idées.
En premier lieu, nous demandons des *droits égaux pour tout-e-s* et *l’abolition des Lagers*. De plus, nous invitons à se mobiliser *contre la violence de droite* et à *ne laisser aucune place au racisme*!

SCHUL- UND UNISTREIK – Gegen Rassismus ob PEGIDA oder Staat – brennende Heime sind die Früchte ihrer Saat!
Aufruf:
Ein neues Schuljahr/Semester und schon wieder müssen wir auf die Straße gehen.
Rassismus auf der Straße: Über 500 gewaltsame Übergriffe auf Geflüchtete und Unterkünfte in diesem Jahr! Regelmäßig bringen die Rassist*innen wie PEGIDA und Nazis über 10.000 Menschen auf die Straße und auf einmal scheint es wieder ok Rassist*in zu sein. Im Vergleich zu 2012 sind die Übergriffe auf mehr als das Zwanzigfache gestiegen. Die rechte Gewalt eskaliert zu progromähnlicher Stimmung – und das nicht nur in Deutschland. Dazu gehören schon lange nicht mehr „nur“ Pöbeleien, sondern auch Brandanschläge und Hetzjagden, wie in Hellersdorf und Heidenau. Doch die Gewalt betrifft nicht nur Geflüchtete, sondern uns alle, denn alle die nicht in ihr Bild passen, werden zur Zielscheibe. Wir haben die Schnauze voll und werden das nicht länger hinnehmen!
Und auch der Staat tut kaum etwas um uns und unsere Freund*innen zu schützen.
Staatlicher Rassismus: Zwar ist es seit neustem Mode, dass sich die Bundesregierung anti-rassistisch gibt, aber die Realität sieht anders aus. Eine Asylgesetzverschärfung jagd die nächste, ihr Zweck: Mehr Menschen schneller abzuschieben, das Mittel: Abschiebehaft für bis zu 12 Monate. Die Grenzen werden wieder dicht gemacht und die Bundeswehr ins Mittelmeer geschickt um Schiffe zu versenken. Doch auch die Menschen, die Deutschland erreichen, erwartet hier kein rosiges Leben: Ein Lagerplatz, in dem ihnen 4 – 6 m² ist fast schon ein „Glücksfall“, viele müssen bei Regen und Kälte auf der Straße schlafen und verbringen Tage in den Schlangen zur Registrierung wie beim LaGeSo in Moabit. Dass in einem der reichsten Länder der Welt, das u.a. durch Waffenexporte täglich Fluchtursachen schafft und an jedem Krieg mitverdient, kein Geld da sein soll um den Opfern dieser Lage zu helfen, kaufen wir euch nicht ab. Geld ist da, es ist nur falsch verteilt! Gebäude, die leer stehen, um sie später gewinnbringend zu verkaufen und die Vernichtung von guten Lebensmitteln, sind nur zwei Beispiele dafür.
Wir kämpfen für eine Gesellschaft ohne Grenzen und Unterdrückung, in der es um die Bedürfnisse aller und nicht um den Profit weniger geht. Eine Gesellschaft in der wir gemeinsam und solidarisch zusammenleben und nicht mehr gezwungen werden den Großteil unseres Tages in Schulen und Betrieben „abzusitzen“. Eine Gesellschaft in der wir uns frei entfalten können, Lernen Spaß macht und alle Zugang zu guter Bildung haben.
Gleiche Rechte für Alle!
Volle Staatsbürger*innenrechte für Geflüchtete, heißt Recht auf Arbeit, volle demokratische Rechte und Bewegungsfreiheit
Lager Abschaffen!
Für die Unterbringung in eigenen Wohnungen. Wo es den Platz nicht gibt: Enteignung von Leerstand und Spekulationsobjekten und massiven Sozialwohnungsbau.
Werdet aktiv gegen rechte Gewalt!
Bildet antirassistische Strukturen und Schüler*innengruppen, organisiert euch, geht auf die Straße und seid da wo es brennt.
Rassismus keinen Raum bieten!
Für eine breite Jugendbewegung gegen jede Form von Unterdrückung.

SCHOOL- AND UNIVERSITY STRIKE AGAINST RACISM
Racism on the streets: more than 500 attacks towards refugees and their accommodations alone in this year. Racist groups such as PEGIDA and the Neo-Nazis are raising and mobilizing more than 10.000 people on the streets. Right wing violence is escalating and the governments aren’t protecting the people. We can not let this happen any longer!
Racism in the government: Even though some powerful politicians from the german government promote a welcoming discourse, the political practice looks different. One Asylum law tightening after the other passes the parliament. Deportations are planed to be executed faster and faster. People who are seeking asylum in germany can be put in deportation jails for 18 months. And while all that is happening within the borders of germany, the german army in cooperation with FRONTEX closes the european borders and is sent to the Mediterranean Sea to fight against the so called “human trafficking”.
Many of the refugees who finally arrive in Germany are send into camps and often don’t have more then 4m²-6m² to live. Many people have to sleep on the streets in the cold or have to stand for days in long lines to wait for their registration such as in front of the LAGESO in Moabit.
Germany is one of the richest countries in the world, making lots of money with the export of weapons, creating war and suffering all over the world, creating the reasons why people have to leave their homes and go on a long and awful journey to seek asylum. That the same government doesn’t have enough money to help these people can’t be true! There is enough money, it’s simply in the wrong hands. Houses that are empty since many years, so they can be sold with profit later on and the destruction of tons of good food are only two examples for this.
We are fighting for a society without borders and oppression. We are fighting for a society which is not about the profits of few but the needs of every single human being. A society where we all live together in a solitary way, where everyone is able to develop freely and everyone has the opportunity for free education.
WE DEMAND:
Equal rights for everyone!
We demand full citizen-rights for everyone. This includes the right to work, full democratic rights and the right to move freely.
Close refugee camps!
We demand: apartments for everyone! And if there’s not enough space: expropriation of empty houses, speculating objects and the massive building of social housing.
No space for racism!
We call for a wide movement against racism and every kind of oppression. Get organized to defend yourself and others.

De plus en plus de racisme dans les rues, plus de 500 agressions envers des personnes ne semblant pas être européennes, ainsi que la détérioration de leurs maisons au cours de cette année ! Des groupes racistes tels que PEGIDA et les Néo-nazis se développent et rassemblent à chacune de leurs manifestations plus de 10 000 personnes dans les rues. La violence augmente à très grande allure à travers toute l’Europe et les gouvernements ne font rien pour protéger les personnes attaquées. Nous ne pouvons pas laisser une situation pareille s’aggraver !
L’état a crée le racisme: bien que le gouvernement allemand ait une campagne antiraciste présentée à travers des médias, la réalité est bien différente. Il y a un durcissement de lois d’asile après l’autre ! Des déportations sont planifiées et organisées pour être effectuées de façon plus rapide. Les personnes qui recherchent désespérément un refuge en Allemagne sont mises dans des prisons pour une période allant jusqu’à 18 mois en attendant leurs déportations dans leur pays d’origine. Pendant que tout cela se déroule à l’intérieur même des frontières allemandes, l’armée de ce même pays, en coopération avec FRONTEX, ferme les frontières européennes et est envoyé en Mer Méditerranée pour combattre ce qui est appelé le “trafic d’humains”.
Ceux qui arrivent finalement en Allemagne sont envoyés dans d’immenses camps de réfugiés et n’ont souvent pas plus de 4 à 6m² pour vivre. La plupart d’entre eux n’ont même pas accès à ces camps, doivent dormir dans la rue, le froid et attendre des jours et des jours dans des files d’attente pour obtenir leur enregistrement, comme par exemple devant le LAGESO à Moabit. L’Allemagne est l’un des pays les plus riches au monde, se faisant beaucoup d’argent avec l’exportation d’armes, créant des guerres et la souffrance à travers le monde, poussant les gens à quitter leur maison et a voyager dans de terribles conditions a la recherche d’un endroit . Que ce même gouvernement n’ait pas assez d’argent pour aider ces personnes ne peut pas être vrai ! Il y a assez d’argent ! Malheureusement, il n’est pas entre les bonnes mains. Des maisons inutilisées depuis des années afin qu’elles rapportent beaucoup d’argent un jour et le gaspillage de tant de nourriture qui pourrait encore servir, n’en sont que deux exemples.
Nous nous battons pour une société sans frontières ni oppression. Nous nous battons pour une société qui ne serait pas seulement portée sur le profit financier, mais sur les besoins de chaque être humain. Une société où nous pourrions vivre tous ensemble, d’une façon solidaire, où tout le monde serait capable de grandir et s’épanouir librement et où chacun aurait droit a une éducation et une scolarisation.
NOUS DEMANDONS:
L’égalité des droits pour tout le monde ! L’entière citoyenneté allemande pour tous ceux qui arrivent ici. Ce qui voudrait dire le droit de travailler, les droits démocratiques fondamentaux et le droit de se déplacer librement.
La fermeture des camps de réfugiés! Des maisons privées pour tout le monde ! S’il n’y pas assez d’espaces, qu’il y ait l’expropriation des maisons vides et des objets de spéculation, ainsi que la construction massive de bâtiments sociaux.
De ne donner aucun droit au racisme ! Pour un grand mouvement contre le racisme et tous les cas d’oppression. S’organiser pour se défendre et défendre les autres.
