Demonstration against 20th European Police Congres/Demonstration against 20th European Police Congress

 

21-22 Şubat 2017 tarihinde düzenlenecek olan 20. Avrupa Polis Kongresi protesto edildi. Düzenlenecek olan Polis kongresinin ana gündemi Avrupa’da genel olarak alınacak güvenlik önlemleri olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu kongre ile Avrupa’daki mülteci, göçmen ve diğer sistem karşıtı hareketlere karşı yeni sınırların ve baskı yasalarının çıkarılması hedeflenmektedir. Kapitalist merkezlerden ihraç edilen silahlarla Avrupa dışındaki bölgelerde sürekli savaş ve çatışmalar devam etmektedir. Bu sebeplerden ötürü Avrupa’ya sığınmak zorunda kalmış mülteci ve göçmenlere karşı bu yasalar üzerinden bir çeşit baskı ve savaş yürütülmektedir.

 

Almanya’nın bir çok şehrinde Avrupa Polis Kongresi’ne karşı çeşitli protesto eylemleri gerçekleştirildi. Berlin de bu eylemlere sahne olan çeşitli kentlerden biriydi. 18 Şubat tarihinde gerçekleştirilen Berlin’deki eyleme çeşitli sol, anti-faşist ve mülteci gruplarından oluşan yaklaşık 500 kişi katıldı. Berlin- Kreuzberg’ten başlayan ve mültecilere, göçmenlere karşı sürdürülen baskı ve sınırdışı politikalarını kınayan sloganlarla devam eden yürüyüş Postdamer Platz’da yapılan basın açıklamasının ardından sona erdi.

Demonstration against 20th European Police Congress

 

20th European Police Congress that takes place on 21-22 February 2017 has been protested. Main topic of this congress is determined as “General Security Issues in Europe”. With this congress, new repression laws and borders against to refugees, immigrants and anti-system movements are aimed. War and conflicts which is promoted by capitalist centers are still going on in other countries. Over those laws and restrictions, another version of war and conflict is being sustained against to the refugees and migrants who had to leave their countries.

 

Several protests have taken place in many cities of Germany. Berlin was also one of those cities. On February 18th at least 500 people consisting of several anti-fascist, refugee and migrant groups participated to the protest. The protest march started at Berlin-Kreuzberg and continued with slogans against repression and restriction to the refugees and migrants till Postdamer Square. The protest has ended after press brief in Postdamer Square.
