DEMO: Lampedusa in Berlin – Wir bleiben hier!

20.10

DEMONSTRATION

“Lampedusa in Berlin – Wir bleiben hier!”
Mittwoch, 23.

“We are here, because you destroy our countries.”

“Lampedusa in Berlin – We’re staying here!”

Wednesday 23 October 2013 1 pm

Oranienplatz

We demand:
– legalisation and recognition of the group ” Lampedusa in Berlin”
– unconditional access for undocumented who fled to the city into the winter emergency program
– and after winter following financing

“We are here, because you destroy our countries.”
In recent weeks, more than 300 escapees drowned in shipwrecks off the island of Lampedusa. Probably the worst refugee tragedy of the last time was not a sad individual case, but the direct result of the murderous EU asylum policy, which has claimed over 16,000 lives since 1993.

This policy of Foreclosure and deterrence from the beginning was to fail condemned, because migration and refugees can neither stop nor regulate. People will take their right to freedom of movement always take as long as they are forced to flee from their homes. And just this countless reasons for flight are created by the policies of the European states exactly who celebrate themselves as saviors of democracy and human rights and driving at the same time every day escapees from their coasts and within their borders to death.

After the tragedy of Lampedusa quickly started a discussion on the need for a new EU asylum policy. Besides the stupid and misleading demand for even more isolation and repression, there was also a strong demand for better cooperation among EU Member States. The spokesman for the EU Innenkomissarin Malmstöm commented, shortly after the Shipwreck very clear:

“We hope that all Member States to show solidarity and understanding, that the time has come to develop a coherent immigration and

To define and implement policy on asylum.” (Source tagesschau.de)

The recognition of the group ” Lampedusa in Berlin” and unconditional access for undocumented which fled to the city and following winter emergency program financing it would be legally possible to readily and the only human response to the failing EU asylum policy.

The refugees from Lampedusa Berlin want a home and the right to stay!

Fortress Europe will fall!

Dublin system tilt – stop all deportations!

We are here, because you destroy our countries.

U.S. Sets Stage for Libya-Like Regime Change in Eritrea, “Africa’s Cuba”

The U.S. is moving towards war against Eritrea, a fiercely independent African nation of only six million people. Washington has deployed its UN “human rights” proxies to justify another “humanitarian” military intervention, remarkably like the UN-sanctioned aggression against Libya, in 2011. The UN panel charges Eritrea with “enslaving” and murdering its own people – a… Read more »
