Liebe Leute, es ist wieder soweit!
In der Ohlauer geht es in die 2te Runde!
Wie ihr bestimmt schon mitbekommen habt, wurden in den vergangen Wochen hunderte der Refugees vom O-Platz Abkommen auf die Straße gesetzt. Nun, 4 Monate nach dem letzten Räumungsversuch der Gerhart-Hauptmann-Schule, hat der Bezirk durch seine Grüne Bürgermeisterin Monika Herrmann zum 31.10.2014 eine Kündigung an die Refugees in der Schule geschickt. Alle Bewohner*innen sollen auf die Straße gesetzt werden. So viel sind die Versprechen der Grünen wert. Die Kreuzberger Bezirkspolitiker_innen reden von Recht und Gesetz, brechen aber alle Vereinbarungen, die sie mit den Refugees eingegangen sind; sei es am Oranienplatz mit Kolat oder in der Schule mit Panhoff!
9 Tage lang haben wir im Juni/ Juli in und um die Schule ausgeharrt, uns der Belagerung durch die Polizei und den Spielchen der Politiker widersetzt.
Am Freitag läuft das Ultimatum ab. Das Bezirksamt hat bereits eine Räumung für Freitag angekündigt. Aus Erfahrung wissen wir, es kann schnell losgehen und es kann lange dauern! Aber wir bleiben standhaft! Lasst uns den gemeinschaftlichen Zusammenhalt vom Juni/ Juli wiedererwecken! Nur so können wir eine Räumung verhindern!
Holt warme Kleidung & Thermoskannen raus! Haltet euch frei wo’s geht! Verabredet euch in und um die Ohlauer! Checkt die Twitter & facebook Accounts! Mobilisiert eure Freunde! Legt Telefon-Verteiler in euren Handys an! Und vor allem, ölt die Stimmbänder! Once again, we are going to say it loud! And say it clear! Refugees are welcome here!!!

Hi together, it’s time again – 2nd round on Ohlauer Str.
surely you’ve heard that hundreds of refugees taking part in the O-platz agreement lost their accomodations in the past weeks – have been put on the streets. Now the refugees living in the school have received a notice of cancellation as of 31st of october. The cancellation letter was send to them by the district’s green mayor Monika Hermann, 4 months after the last attempt to evict Gerhart-Hauptamnn-School. All its inhabitants are about to loose their shelter. That’s what the green party’s promises were good for. Kreuzberg’s politicians keep talking about respect for the law while they are in breach of literally every agreement they made with he refugees – be it at Oranienplatz, Senator Kolat’s agreement, or the one signed by Mr. Panhoff at school!
For 9 days we held out in and around the school in June and July, resisted the police siege and some tactical tricks by politicians.
On friday the ultimatum will lapse. The district has already announced eviction for friday. By experience we know it can happen very abrupt and take a long time to end. But we’ll stay firm! Let’s revive last summer’s spirit of solidarity! It’s our only chance to stop eviction!
Get ready your warm cloths and thermos flasks! Take some days off whenever possible! Make your appointments around Ohlauer Str.! Keep checking twitter and facebook! Mobilize your friends! Get your mailing lists ready on the mobile phone! And most important: grease your vocal chords! Once again we are going to say it loud! And say it clear! Refugees are welcome here!!!
